Collection: Acuvue

Do you want to buy Acuvue contact lenses? Acuvue lenses are high-quality contact lenses, suitable for every type. Acuvue ensures wearing comfort with their unique, soft lenses.

The name Acuvue is derived from 'Accurate view,' which means accurate vision. Acuvue lenses were first produced in the 1950s in a small company called Frontier Contact Lenses. In the 1970s, the first soft lenses from Acuvue were developed. In 1981, Frontier Contact Lenses, and thus Acuvue, was sold to Johnson & Johnson. Frontier Contact Lenses was renamed Vistakon. Currently, Acuvue is still part of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care.

Acuvue has several lines in their assortment. Acuvue has daily lenses and weekly lenses. The weekly lenses can be worn continuously for 7 days and 6 nights, or for 2 weeks during the day only. At night, you should rest the lenses in lens solution. Check the specifications carefully.

About Bausch & Lomb

Bausch & Lomb found its origins in 1853 in the United States. The team, consisting of the two German immigrants John Jacob Bausch, a strong optician, and Henry C. Lomb, financial manager, began with a small business producing monocles. After its success in monocles, Bausch & Lomb began manufacturing microscopes, camera lenses, binoculars and telescopes. After World War II, Bausch & Lomb began experimenting in contact lenses. In 1971, Bausch & Lomb introduced their first contact lenses to the market under the name Bausch & Lomb Soflens, which due to a new formulation were much softer and more comfortable to wear than other existing lenses. Bausch & Lomb quickly grew into the market leader in contact lens manufacturing and the international company it is today.
