Collection: Live

Addresses the needs of young adults.

Young adults cite comfort, health, convenience, and affordability as the most important features for successfully wearing contact lenses. Live® daily lenses are designed to meet these needs – enabling lens wearers to live their lives their way.

Comfort – Silicone molecules are hydrophobic and therefore naturally repel water. AquaGen® is a unique no-surface-treatment technology that naturally attracts and binds water molecules to the lens surface. Together with a high water content (56%), this contributes to all-day wearing comfort.

Health – With a Dk/t of 86, Live® offers lens wearers better oxygen permeability than lenses made of hydrogel material.

About Bausch & Lomb

Bausch & Lomb found its origins in 1853 in the United States. The team, consisting of the two German immigrants John Jacob Bausch, a strong optician, and Henry C. Lomb, financial manager, began with a small business producing monocles. After its success in monocles, Bausch & Lomb began manufacturing microscopes, camera lenses, binoculars and telescopes. After World War II, Bausch & Lomb began experimenting in contact lenses. In 1971, Bausch & Lomb introduced their first contact lenses to the market under the name Bausch & Lomb Soflens, which due to a new formulation were much softer and more comfortable to wear than other existing lenses. Bausch & Lomb quickly grew into the market leader in contact lens manufacturing and the international company it is today.
