Collection: Total

Total lenses are a line of contact lenses produced by Alcon, which includes several types of lenses, such as Total 30 monthly lenses and Dailies Total 1 daily lenses. These lenses are designed with advanced technologies to promote comfort and eye health. Advanced material technology: Total lenses are made of silicone hydrogel, a material known for its high oxygen permeability. This ensures that the eyes can "breathe" and reduces the risk of irritation and other complications that may arise from wearing contact lenses. The Total 30 monthly lenses, for example, are made of lehfilcon A, while the Dailies Total 1 daily lenses are made of delefilcon A. Total lenses contain various technologies that increase comfort. The Total 30 monthly lenses use Water Gradient technology, which ensures that the lenses contain almost 100% water on the surface, and CELLIGENT technology to protect the eyes from bacteria and protein deposits. Dailies Total 1 daily lenses have a variable water content and SmarTears technology that releases an ingredient similar to natural tears, which contributes to comfort.
Total lenses offer protection against bacteria and protein deposits, such as the Total 30 lenses with CELLIGENT technology. In addition, there are daily lenses such as Dailies Total 1 that are disposable, which contributes to ease of use and hygiene, as users can start each day with a clean pair of lenses. Some Total lenses also offer UV protection, which provides an extra layer of protection against the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation.

About Bausch & Lomb

Bausch & Lomb found its origins in 1853 in the United States. The team, consisting of the two German immigrants John Jacob Bausch, a strong optician, and Henry C. Lomb, financial manager, began with a small business producing monocles. After its success in monocles, Bausch & Lomb began manufacturing microscopes, camera lenses, binoculars and telescopes. After World War II, Bausch & Lomb began experimenting in contact lenses. In 1971, Bausch & Lomb introduced their first contact lenses to the market under the name Bausch & Lomb Soflens, which due to a new formulation were much softer and more comfortable to wear than other existing lenses. Bausch & Lomb quickly grew into the market leader in contact lens manufacturing and the international company it is today.
